Scholarships by Govt. Organizations

1 KISHORE VIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJNA ( KVPY) These scholarships are given by Dept.of Science and Technology. Amount of scholarship Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 pm

2 SAHA INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR PHYSICS. These scholarships are given by the Dept of Atomic Energy. Amount of Rs 150 per day is given along with book grant of Rs 6000/- per annum.

3 INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE, Bangalore You are paid for travel  and stay expenses during 30 days exposure to contemporary scientific research at IISC along with Rs 1500/- annually towards payment for books and partial reimbursement of tuition fees.

4 COUNCIL OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, Lucknow .Five awards of Rs 10000/- each are given to highest marks in science subjects in High school and intermediate level.

5 INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, New Delhi. National Talent Scholarship is awarded to promote agriculture education in the country; under these Rs 1000/-pm is given.

6 HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSIONER HARYANA offers various schemes of scholarships to meritorious students.

7 NETAJI SUBHASH NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SPORTS Patiala offers sports scholarship to those sports persons who are studying in schools/colleges.

8 DEPARTMENT FOR THE WELFARE OF SC/ST/OBC/MINIORITIES offers post matric scholarships to the students belonging to above categories for pursuing further studies at post matriculation /post secondary levels within India.

9 NATIONAL SCHOLORSHIPS FOR TALENTED CHILDREN FROM RURAL AREAS The objective of the scheme is to provide opportunities to school students from rural areas to pursue secondary stage education.

10 RASHTRIYA SANSKRIT SANSTHAN New Delhi offers scholarships to students for post matric studies in Sanskrit. The scholarships is offered to regular students of 10+2 system of education, graduates and post graduates.
